Expert in security and preventing losses has worked at Shell Brasil for 30 years, acting in the Security and Safety Areas. He managed the Preventing losses Area from Alumar, a company from the Alcoa Group - Aluminum Company of America, where he implemented the preventing losses programs, reaching results as the 30 % decreasing in the insurance prize of the company. He took part in Group 4 International Learning Centre from the Security Practice and Management course in London, as well as Transnational Security Threats to Business.
Sergio Américo M. de Carvalho
Chemical engineer, expert in Work Safety Engineering, has worked at Shell Brasil for 24 years. Works as a Guest Professor in the Safety Specialization courses at UFF, PUC, UFRJ (All of them important universities from Rio de Janeiro), and in the Occupational Medicine Course at Gama Filho University. His main works are: Emergency Plans, Risk Analysis Studies, Tests, Developing and Specifying equipments of preventing and fighting fire; Tests of Quality Control of Foam Generator Liquid.
Alfredo José Rodrigues
Expert in preventing and fighting fire. Worked at Shell Brasil as the Emergency and Contingency Plans coordinator and also “oil spill” control. He has been responsible for the training of the teams from the Emergency Brigades. He teaches at the Fire Fighting Course and other DSS Security Programs.
Glaucio Mendonça Santos
Mechanical Engineer. Specialization in Security Engineering. Expert in Security Engineering, Master in Environment, Safety and Health at Work: Integrated Management System. Works as a Guest Professor at the Specialization in Security Engineering course at UFF and UERJ (both important universities from Rio de Janeiro).
